For 35 plus years, the S & S Camper brand has been synonymous with words like tough, strong, well built & warm. Cheap construction methods and poor quality materials are not an option at S & S Campers where the goal is still to build one of the toughest, strongest and warmest campers available.

The Ponderosa is a top of the line series with a list of features as big as the great outdoors. These deluxe models come fully loaded or create your own package of performance and convenience options to build the camper of your dreams.

Interior features like the innovative hideaway sliding steps (w/ built-in storage) for easy cabover bed access, microwave, inner-spring queen mattress and wall-mounted CD stereo/DVD player are just a few of the comforts we offer. Ponderosa interiors include rich detailing, with quality upholstery and real wood cabinetry and doors.

Outside, these are performance-packed models with dual propane tanks, dual batteries, on-board generator, satellite dish, communications panel and much more (see options chart).

Four Season Friendly.

Whether it's a late fall hunting camp or a summer weekend at the lake, S & S Campers will provide comfortable quarters whatever the weather brings. All of our models feature thermostatically controlled high output furnaces that provide all the warmth of home.

Our fully enclosed basement holding tank area with furnace duct work prevents freeze-ups in sub-zero temperatures. The seven-ply laminated subfloor and walls are insulated with fiberglass and Thermax® block foam insulation to keep you snug and warm against the elements. And don't forget - those same insulating qualites keep your camper cooler, enhancing the benefits of an air conditioned unit in the hot summer months.

Comfort And Value

S & S Campers utilize floor plan designs that have the comfort level of a pick-up camper with a slide-out room, without the disadvantages of actually having a slide-out room (i.e. extra cost, extra weight, more potential maintenance issues and overall structural integrity).

Also now available is a safer and more environmentally friendly truck camper. Look for the S & S Green Logo, a camper equipped with a new 12 VDC compressor style refrigerator and two large 80 watt solar panels. Requiring no flame to operate, it produces no emissions. Also, unlike conventional RV refrigerators, it requires no roof vent.

Insulated dual pane European style windows and skylight/escape hatch with built-in screens and solar block-out shades add to the list of new ideas that keep S & S Campers at the forefront of new developments in the RV industry.
